The Gigant greenhouse is an advanced build and should only be assembled by a contractor or highly skilled handyman. Please consider the following:

⚠️ On glass models, the roof glazing panels are extremely large and heavy
and may require additional support scaffolding during assembly.
⚠️ Hardware for attaching this greenhouse to a building is not included
Weather stripping for sealing the gap between this greenhouse and a building is not included.
⚠️ Due to the high level of customization for this greenhouse, We cannot provide structural certifications (but we can put you in touch with the engineering firm that provided the manufacturer's). You may need additional heavy duty supports for wind/snow load in your area. This can only authoritatively be determined by an engineer.
⚠️ This unit would need to be assembled by contractors due the size and weight of the roof glass and level of the assembly.
⚠️ Please note there are additional challenges in anchoring this greenhouse as recommended as the heavy duty portal frames are recommended to be embedded in the foundation. It is strongly recommended to have professionals prepare the site and install.
⚠️ All Gigants are special order and are about 14 to 16 weeks turnaround – but that could fluctuate.

🌿Curbside Delivery
🌿Delivery is done through LTL Motor Freight and is free, unless you live in an area with limited access (i.e. island etc...this is extremely rare) this might incurr extra fees.
🌿We ship using an 18 wheeler (let us know if there are tight roads or low hanging wires, manufacturer cannot guarantee the availability of a smaller truck). Our shipping includes a forklift and flatbed.
🌿Someone will need to be available to receive the greenhouse. We will call to set up a delivery timeframe. Driver might need help although he will do most of the work.

🪻How does this greenhouse ship? The greenhouse ships out on a LTL Freight. We ship free through continental USA. We offer free curbside delivery. 🪻Do I choose glass or polycarbonate? Most customers purchase tempered glass because it is clear and hence for esthetic reasons. However, polycarbonate greenhouses are almost indestructible, easy to maintain and can retain heat better. We offer the best of both worlds by combining esthetics and sturdiness. We now offer the option of a polycarbonate roof and a glass side panels.

Overview

The Gigant is a European glass greenhouse built on a grand scale. Made in Belgium by Janssens, it pairs a heavy-duty powder-coated aluminum frame with 4 mm tempered safety glass, tall sidewalls and a 22° roof pitch for plenty of light, airflow and room for tall plants.

More than a greenhouse. With some customization, the Gigant makes a striking pool enclosure, garden studio, event pavilion, outdoor dining room or creative workspace. It comes in five sizes, from the 12 ft 7 in by 19 ft 10 in Gigant up to the High Gigant at 19 ft 10 in by 29 ft 6 in.

Choose your glazing. All-glass models use 4 mm tempered glass where many others use 3 mm. The hybrid option pairs a 10 mm solar-control polycarbonate roof with 4 mm toughened glass walls, which reduces summer heat and glare and is much easier to install. Either way, the panels are full single pieces set in heavy-duty rubber seals.

Plan for professionals. The Gigant must be assembled by contractors, not as a DIY project. The roof glass is large and heavy, and the portal frames are embedded in the foundation, so have professionals prepare the site and install it. Delivery needs a forklift and a flatbed to unload. Ask us to connect you with the engineering firm if your area sees heavy wind or snow.

What is the difference between the Gigant and the High Gigant?

The High Gigant is a taller version of the same footprint, with raised side walls. The High Gigant 15x20 has 8' 4" side walls and reaches 11' 5" at the peak, versus 6' 8" side walls and a 9' 10" peak on the Gigant 15x20, and adds two more louvered windows. The High Gigant 20x30 has 9' 7" side walls and reaches 13' 9", versus 6' 8" side walls and a 10' 10" peak on the Gigant 20x30, and uses four portal frames instead of three.

What is the hybrid glazing option?

The hybrid (Combi) option pairs a 10 mm solar-control polycarbonate roof with 4 mm toughened glass side panels. The polycarbonate roof helps reduce summer heat, cuts sun glare and is much easier to install than large roof glass.

Who should assemble the Gigant?

The Gigant is an advanced build and should be assembled by contractors or a highly skilled handyman. On glass models the roof panels are very large and heavy and may need support scaffolding.
