Product Description

Picture this: a classic terracotta urn by the back door, holding up to 133 gallons of free rainwater stored inside for dry spells.
That's the Graf Venetia Amphora Rain Barrel. It has the graceful, rounded shape of a Mediterranean amphora with a warm terracotta finish, but it's made from tough, UV-stable HD-PE plastic, so it won't chip or crack like real clay. It comes in three sizes (63, 80 and 133 gallons), so there's one for a small patio and one for a big vegetable garden.
💧 Did you know? Just 1 inch of rain falling on a 1,000 sq ft roof sends about 600 gallons down your gutters. That's enough to fill the 80 gallon Venetia more than 7 times from a single storm.
Which size ships how? The 63 and 80 gallon sizes ship by UPS or FedEx. The 133 gallon size is too big for parcel carriers, so it goes by truck.
Why Gardeners Fall for It
🏺 Looks like real terracotta
A rounded amphora shape and warm clay color that suit cottage gardens, patios and courtyards.
🔍 Handy access panel
A small panel on top lets you check the water level or reach inside.
📏 Three sizes to choose from
63, 80 or 133 gallons, so you can match the barrel to your roof and your garden.
🦟 No mosquito nursery
The closed design keeps mosquitoes from getting in to breed.
🌑 Algae stays out
Thick, opaque walls block sunlight, so your water stays cleaner for longer.
☀️ Built for the outdoors
UV-stable and weather-resistant, with a spigot included so it's ready to use.
Why Your Plants Will Thank You
Rainwater is naturally soft and chlorine-free, the way plants like it. Vegetables, greenhouse seedlings, flower beds and potted plants all do better on it than on treated tap water. Every gallon you catch is one less on your water bill, and your garden keeps drinking even during summer watering restrictions.
Complete Your Setup
🔗 Graf Downspout Connection Kit
The must-have. It fills the barrel straight from your gutter (fits round or rectangular downspouts).
Makes draining quick and easy for cleaning or before a hard freeze.
Curious how much water your roof could collect? Plug in your numbers with our Greenhouse Rainwater Calculator.
❄️ Winter Care in 3 Easy Steps
Water expands when it freezes and can crack any rain barrel. Before the first hard freeze:
- Empty it completely.
- Disconnect it from the downspout or close off the water inlet.
- Leave the spigot open so any leftover water drains out.
